AudioIQ optimization failed

How to find out why AudioIQ failed and fix it.

Overview

AudioIQ runs automatically as part of Room OS AutoDeploy. If it doesn't complete, Room OS reports the issue. Start by reading that report, then fix the cause and run it again.

Check the report in Room OS

When AudioIQ fails, Room OS shows a report explaining the cause. Open it first; it tells you exactly what to fix. Common causes include:

  • A speaker wasn't detected — a speaker isn't connected, powered, or recognized

  • The microphone couldn't hear a speaker — the mic isn't picking up one or more speakers during the measurement

Fix the cause

Based on what the report shows:

  • Speaker not detected: check that the speaker is connected and powered, and that it appears in the room's device list

  • Microphone can't hear a speaker: check that the speaker is working and positioned correctly, and that nothing is blocking the path between the speakers and the microphone

Run AudioIQ again

Once you've fixed the cause shown in the report, run AI AutoDeploy again to retry optimization.

If it still fails, generate a diagnostic report and contact Pleneo Support.

In summary

If AudioIQ won’t complete, read the report in Room OS; it tells you the cause, whether that's a speaker not detected or the microphone not hearing a speaker. Fix what the report shows and run AI AutoDeploy again. If it still fails, send a diagnostic report to Pleneo Support.
