Is Pleneo Cloud secure? 

Yes. Security is a core principle at Pleneo. As an organisation, Pleneo is certified under SOC 2 Type 2, ISO/IEC 27001, and ISO/IEC 42001, and Pleneo Cloud is built and operated within that certified framework. These standards confirm that Pleneo's systems, processes, and controls protect customer data continuously, not just at a single point in time.

What data is sent to the cloud? 

RoomHub processes all audio, media, and AI locally. No audio, media, or meeting content is ever sent to the cloud, only monitoring data and analytics.

Can RoomHub be used without internet access? 

Yes. RoomHub works fully offline. All core room functions run locally, including microphone and camera control, AI AutoDeploy, and AI audio processing. Internet access is only needed for Pleneo Cloud features such as remote monitoring, analytics, or Zero Touch Cloud Deployment.

Where is customer data stored?

Pleneo Cloud is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Combined with Pleneo's SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications, this means customer data sits on enterprise-grade, independently audited infrastructure.

Data is stored and processed in line with regional regulations such as GDPR, and Pleneo supports regional data hosting where required, so customers can meet internal governance and data-residency requirements.
