802.1X is an enterprise security standard that controls which devices are allowed to connect to a network. For Pleneo room deployments, it ensures that only approved devices can access the corporate network, automatically and securely.

802.1X with RoomHub
RoomHub supports enterprise-grade 802.1X authentication on its network ports. This means:
Devices authenticate automatically when connected
Access is granted only if credentials are valid
Devices that fail or don't support authentication are isolated or blocked
Works with enterprise IT
RoomHub uses certificate-based authentication (EAP-TLS) for 802.1X, the method most enterprise networks prefer. This lets RoomHub fit cleanly into tightly managed networks.
