1. Introduction

This document describes the new features, improvements, bug fixes and known issues in the 2.4.1-27 firmware release for Pleneo RoomHub.

This release adds support for two more microphones and a third way to reach the RoomHub web interface.

2. What's new in Room OS 2.4.1-27

New features in this release

• Support for Sennheiser TCC2 and Yamaha RM-CG

2.1 Supported microphones

Room OS now supports:

• Sennheiser TCC2

• Yamaha RM-CG

Both microphones are discovered on the network and added from the setup flow. During setup, you are prompted for any device-specific steps. Both are supported in AutoDeploy. Audio IQ is not supported on these microphones.

2.2 USB discovery

You can now reach the RoomHub web interface over USB, without knowing anything about the network.

1. Connect a laptop to USB 1 on RoomHub.

2. Open the audio settings on the laptop. RoomHub appears as an audio device, with its current IP address in the device name.

3. Browse to https://<ip-address>.

USB discovery adds to the existing hostname and network scan options.
