1. Introduction

This document describes the new features, improvements, bug fixes and known issues in the 2.4.1-19 firmware release for Pleneo Room OS.

This release adds support for Pleneo RoomDesign Ceiling speakers and AES67 audio over IP.

2.1 Pleneo RoomDesign Ceiling

Room OS now supports Pleneo RoomDesign Ceiling speakers.

RoomDesign Ceiling uses a single PoE or PoE+ cable for power, audio, control and monitoring. Connect each speaker to a PoE switch on the same network as RoomHub.

RoomDesign Ceiling is discovered on the network and added from the setup flow. It is included in AutoDeploy and Audio IQ tuning.

2.2 AES67

Room OS now supports AES67 audio over IP.

To use AES67:

1. Activate AES67 in the RoomHub web interface.

2. Open Dante Controller and route audio to and from RoomHub, the same way you route any AES67 device.
