1. Introduction

This document describes the new features, improvements, bug fixes and known issues in the 2.4.1-38 firmware release for Pleneo RoomHub.


2. What's new in Room OS 2.4.1-38

New features in this release

  • Camera support — Pleneo RoomVision and third-party PTZ cameras (VISCA over IP)


2.1 Camera support

Room OS now supports Pleneo RoomVision cameras and third-party PTZ cameras using VISCA over IP.

For every supported camera, from the Room OS web interface you can:

  • Test the camera

  • Control pan, tilt and zoom

  • Save and recall presets

Pleneo RoomVision is configured directly in Room OS. No separate camera setup is required.

  • Lumens: VC-A51P


3. Improvements and bug fixes

Onboarding and password
  • No default username or password — Set your own password the first time you sign in. No username is required. On upgrade, an existing RoomHub keeps its current password.

  • Password requirements — Shown as a checklist during setup: minimum 12 characters, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character.

  • Change password — The password can be changed at any time after setup.

Note: A forgotten password requires a factory reset of the device.

RoomHub web interface: System → About. Pleneo Cloud: Devices view.

Reference logos reflect clients of the Pleneo Group, including those served by Pleneo, Xilica or other group brands.
