What is a Pleneo Room?

A complete meeting room system that sets itself up, tests itself, and tunes its own audio.

Overview

A Pleneo Room is a complete meeting room system, built around a Pleneo device hub. Once installed, it sets itself up, tests itself, and adjusts the audio and video automatically.

The room performs the same way every time it's used.

What makes a Pleneo Room

A Pleneo Room is built from four elements.

1. Device hub

Examples:

The device hub runs Room OS in the room. It handles control, audio and video processing, monitoring, and management, and sets the room up automatically.

2. Speakers

Pleneo speakers include:

Pleneo speakers enable full AudioIQ™ automatic tuning. Non-Pleneo speakers still work, but automatic acoustic tuning won't be available.

3. Microphone

Pleneo Rooms integrate ceiling microphones, scaling from a single microphone in smaller rooms to multiple microphones in larger spaces.

What Room OS does

Room OS brings the room's speakers, microphone, camera, and controls together into one system. It runs on the device hub in the room.

With a device hub connected, Room OS automatically:

  • Finds the connected devices

  • Tests and checks the system

  • Connects everything so the audio and video flow correctly

  • Adjusts the audio to suit the room

This is work that would normally take a specialist hours to complete.

In summary

A Pleneo Room combines a device hub, speakers, a microphone, and a camera. Once the products are connected, Room OS sets up, tests, and tunes the system automatically.
