Prepare your Pleneo room

Overview 

Pleneo rooms set themselves up automatically. In most rooms, no manual tuning or adjustment is needed; AutoDeploy™ handles it, as long as the devices are connected and detected. The checklist below helps set up go smoothly.

Before you set up

• Install the devices as planned. Mount and connect the speakers, microphone, camera, and RoomHub in their intended positions

• Confirm the network and power. Use managed PoE switches for the room's devices, and coordinate with IT if VLANs or 802.1X are in use. All components run on PoE, so no external power supplies are required

• Keep the room quiet during setup. Run setup when the room is empty if you can, and make sure no one is speaking while it's in progress

The room will still set up and work if conditions aren't perfect; a quiet, empty room simply gives the most consistent results.
