MUMBAI, INDIA — 1 September 2026 — Pleneo will make its first-ever appearance in India at InfoComm India 2026, introducing its approach to making medium and large meeting rooms as simple to deploy as small ones.
At the centre of the showcase will be the Pleneo x Sennheiser Room Kits — complete, standardized meeting-room systems designed to remove much of the design, programming and commissioning traditionally associated with larger collaboration spaces.
For years, enterprises have been able to deploy small meeting rooms at scale using repeatable, appliance-like systems. Medium and large rooms have remained different: typically requiring individual system designs, multiple products, specialist configuration and room-by-room commissioning.

The Pleneo Room Kits combine Pleneo RoomHub, Room OS, RoomVision intelligent cameras and RoomDesign PoE loudspeakers with Sennheiser TCCM Plus microphones into complete systems selected simply by room size.
The Medium Room Kit, designed for rooms up to 50 m², includes a Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling Medium Plus microphone, Pleneo RoomVision camera, four RoomDesign Ceiling PoE loudspeakers and RoomHub.
The Large Room Kit, designed for rooms up to 90 m², expands the system with two Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling Medium Plus microphones, six RoomDesign Ceiling PoE loudspeakers and the new Pleneo RoomVision XL camera.
Everything is orchestrated by Pleneo Room OS, allowing devices to discover one another, configure automatically and operate as a single room system rather than a collection of individually commissioned products.
The result is a radically simpler deployment model: choose Medium or Large, connect the room, and let the system do the engineering.
The approach is particularly relevant as enterprises increase their adoption of Microsoft Teams, Zoom and AI-enabled workplace technologies. Reliable, intelligible speech capture is becoming increasingly important not only for people participating in meetings, but for AI-driven services including transcription, summaries, speaker attribution and intelligent meeting assistants.
Pleneo and Sennheiser announced their collaboration around the Room Kits earlier this year, combining Sennheiser’s TeamConnect Ceiling microphone technology with Pleneo’s software-driven room architecture. InfoComm India will mark the first time the complete Pleneo experience has been demonstrated publicly in the Indian market.
“India is enormously important to Pleneo,” said James Knight, CEO, Pleneo. “It has a sophisticated technology market, major enterprise deployments and a channel that understands the problem we are trying to solve.”
“InfoComm India is the first time we’ve shown Pleneo in India, so we’re going big,” said Mitesh Lahoti, Sales Director India, Pleneo. “We want people to come and experience what happens when you stop treating every large meeting room like an engineering project.”

Pleneo’s architecture has been designed around the growing importance of software and AI within enterprise collaboration.
RoomHub brings the room endpoints together through Pleneo Room OS, with capabilities including automated deployment, room optimisation and intelligent audio processing. The architecture is designed to provide consistently high-quality audio and video inputs to the collaboration platform while reducing dependence on specialist configuration at the point of deployment.
Because the Room Kits use separate ceiling microphones, distributed loudspeakers and intelligent cameras rather than relying on a single front-of-room device, participants can sit, move and collaborate naturally throughout larger spaces without creating a narrow meeting-room “sweet spot”.
For IT organisations, the objective is simple: one architecture, one deployment workflow and one predictable experience across every location.
