Room OS Concepts

Short description

Setting up your account is the first step to accessing all features of the platform. Your account manages security, billing, and workspace ownership.

Step 1: Create an Account

  1. Go to the Sign Up page.

  2. Enter your email address and password.

  3. Confirm your email via the verification link.

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and include one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character.

Step 2: Complete Profile Information

Fill in the required details to personalize your account.

  • Full name

  • Company/Organization name

  • Preferred language

  • Time zone

Step 3: Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

For better security, enable 2FA on your account.

Recommended Methods:

  • Authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy)

  • SMS verification

  • Hardware key (YubiKey)

2FA adds an extra security layer and is required for Admin roles.

Step 4: Connect a Payout Method

To receive payments from subscriptions or transactions, connect a payout method.

  1. Navigate to Account → Payout Settings.

  2. Choose your preferred method:


    • Bank transfer (IBAN / SWIFT)

    • PayPal

    • Payoneer


  3. Enter required details and verify.

Step 5: Manage User Roles

If you’re an Admin, you can assign roles to collaborators.

Tip: Keep sensitive roles (like Admin and Finance Manager) limited to trusted team members.

Step 6: Verify Business Details

For compliance and fraud prevention, you’ll need to verify your business identity.

  • Upload official documents (e.g., ID, company registration).

  • Provide tax information (e.g., VAT or EIN).

  • Wait for approval (usually 1–2 business days).

Warning: You cannot enable payouts until verification is complete.
