Understanding AEC
Speaker echo removed automatically, so only your voice reaches the call.
Overview
Acoustic echo happens when sound from the speakers reaches the microphone and loops back into the call. Pleneo's HearClear™ AEC Gen 2 removes that echo automatically, before anyone notices. Only your voice is sent to the call.
What it does for you
In any room, sound from the speakers reflects off walls and surfaces before reaching the microphone, and those reflections create echo. HearClear AEC Gen 2 removes that echo in real time, so the far end hears only the people in the room, never themselves.
Remote participants don't hear their own voices come back
Speech stays clear, never clipped or artificial
No feedback, no distraction
It runs continuously in the background, with nothing to manage

Adapts in real time
Rooms change. People move. Conversations overlap. HearClear AEC Gen 2 keeps up automatically:
Handles people speaking at the same time
Adapts as people move or volume changes
Stays effective as room conditions shift
The result is clear speech, without cut words or an artificial sound.
Why it matters
With HearClear™ AEC Gen 2 working properly:
Remote participants don't hear themselves
Conversations feel natural and uninterrupted
There's no feedback or distraction
You don't need to manage it. It runs continuously in the background
Why it matters
Without echo cancellation, calls become tiring and confusing. Echo slows conversation, breaks focus, and can get bad enough to end a call early.
With HearClear AEC Gen 2:
Voices are clean and consistent
Everyone hears only what's intended
Conversations flow naturally
In summary
HearClear™ AEC Gen 2 is Pleneo's acoustic echo cancellation. It removes speaker echo before it reaches the call.
Prevents voices looping back
Adapts automatically as the room changes
Keeps speech natural and clear
If calls sound clean and echo-free, HearClear AEC Gen 2 is doing its job.
