Microphones without AudioIQ

Overview 

AudioIQ™ is Pleneo's automatic room measurement and tuning system. It listens to the room and adjusts the system for clear, natural sound.

Whether a microphone supports AudioIQ™ depends on how deeply it's integrated with Room OS. Some do, some don't, but all supported microphones capture audio reliably.

Two levels of integration

Room OS works with a wide range of microphones, at two levels.

Deeply integrated (AudioIQ supported)

• Used for both audio and room measurement

• Calibrated and tested by Pleneo

• Enable automatic tuning as part of AI AutoDeploy

Standard integration (Room OS supported)

• Used for audio capture and processing

• Not used for room measurement

• Don't enable AudioIQ

Both capture audio reliably. The only difference is whether the microphone can also measure the room for AudioIQ™ tuning.

What you still get without AudioIQ

Even with standard integration, everything else works normally:

• Clear audio capture

• Full AI processing (AEC, AI NoiseSense, ML Room Enhancement, and more)

• Full control integration

• Stable, reliable performance

The only difference is that AudioIQ's automatic room measurement and tuning isn't applied.
